Tips to make your Long-distance relationship work||True Story
Trust me when i say this: YES!! YES!! YES!! YES!! Long Distance Relationships are successful. You still don’t believe. Let me tell you how :
People tend to think that long distance relationships are one of the hardest possible ways of loving someone, that it sucks reall..llly bad. Which makes me think, have you ever tried a long distance relationship yet?? Have you ever fallen for someone who stays miles apart from you?? Hmm..mm Because ‘suck’ doesn’t even begin to cover it. As a matter of fact whoever coined the phrase, “absence makes hearts grow fonder” was undoubtedly an idiot, as absence is making this bitch go crazy.

Whether we want it or not life has a way of taking people we love & tossing them across territories.
By now you must have guessed why I am writing this blog today, Yes you are right I live in one. You know what,
I hate how my phone is full of apps that claim to bring him closer to me, (as the only way I can see him is through a glass wall), But honestly they DON’T . I hate how carefully we plan our ‘Video Chatttt’ as we like to term it, and then they don’t happen because he is too cropped up in his work schedule or he had a very long and tiresome day. But, hats off to his time management skills he still somehow figure out ways to communicate & catching up with all my drama every time. HaHaHa.. (what a magician he is).
I would do absolutely anything to be able to snuggle up next to him right now so that I can bury my head in his chest and interlock my fingers in his and just be this way all through the night just catching the whiff of his natural eau de cologne.
It has been 3 long years and I think I have tutored myself enough to be strong and practical but, there are days where I lay in my bed thinking …. I am in my bed , You are in yours…clearly one of us is in the wrong place, or how we met, how I proposed you, how I reacted when u broke the news that u got your dream job, & yes, the every fucking time you leave for Mysore makes the pain in my heart to moves to my eyes.
I know years from now our past will just be a story. A story of long days and lonely nights, hard work and lack of sleep. We will appreciate and embrace our time together as we have lived through each day having intimately knowing pain of being apart. We will pat our backs knowing how lucky we are to have it made through.
I hate how sometimes I just desperately carve for his hugs, but he is tons of miles away. I HATE A LOT OF THINGS. But, I love the way he picks up from where we left off every single time without worrying about phone ka bill (Telephone Bill).
I can point tons of people who raise a finger at our relationships without even giving a single thought about how it would feel, but whatever they say I know they won’t understand how happy I feel with him.

With all this happening it forces me to ask him that Why.., why can’t we directly skip to the part where we get to spend rest of our lives together??????? Happily Ever After you see…. But as he always likes to quote “ there are no free lunches in life ” .. one has to sacrifice something in order to gain someone. I am ready to strike a balance with these little-little tiny-tiny things till I have him as my Winning Trophy.
My whole story ends at a point where I love HIM
& I know he loves me too..
And this makes all of these sufferings okay..
If you really love your partner don’t leave even a single room for misunderstanding.
And to achieve this communicate as often as possible.
Talk to her during your break time, Wake up early or go on virtual dates. Take interest in each other’s work. Stay Loyal and make your partner feel secure. Explain them your night out plans, or introduce them to your friends. Find out THE way which suits you both.
It is no rocket science people, It is just being their for each other regardless of the Distance barrier.
Take Care.
